How to reset oil service light on BMW X3

Perform the following steps to reset the interval:

1. Make sure that all doors are closed.
2. Make sure there are no warning messages.
3. Press the start/stop button to turn on the ignition.
4. Press and hold button A for about 10 seconds until the first B position appears.
5. Press button A to select the service position to be reset.
6. Note: The service indicators should be reset in the following order: Oil, Inspection.
7. The “Reset executable” B message is displayed.
8. Press and hold button A for 3 seconds.
9. The message “Execute Reset?” is displayed. B.
10. Press and hold the Fig118018.A button for 3 seconds. The message B will change from “Reset running” to “Reset successful”.
11. Press the start/stop button to switch off the ignition.
