First you have to press the button on the back and disconnect the key from the key fob. Then insert a screwdriver into the slot where the key is usually located and gently lift the half of the key fob. Separate the key fob covers and pull out the remote control module.

Then separate the battery pack from the back cover. Remove the battery cover. Then remove the old battery, taking care not to damage the contacts, and install a new one. The battery is installed with the negative side “-” facing down.

Next, snap the battery cover into place and install the unit into the back cover. Place the remote control module on top of the battery pack, connecting the contacts. Line up the cover with the rubber buttons flush with the already assembled part of the key fob and squeeze, fixing.
